For CMA’s summer 2022 exhibition, In the Shadow of Monet: Giverny and American Impressionism, I created the campaign identity that connected the classic Impressionism works with Amanda McCavour’s contemporary show Bright Little Day Stars. Drawing from the rich colors of both, the identity highlighted how perspective changes the way you experience art.
A lensing motif became the visual throughline, echoing the kaleidoscopic effect of moving around the pieces—McCavour even encourages viewers to get up close, touch, and lay on the floor to fully experience her work. With limited photography, the campaign leaned on color, form, and playful composition to unify both exhibitions across all platforms.
